The Infusion Center provides convenient access for patients seven days a week in a comfortable atmosphere with a professional and experienced staff. The Center can accommodate as many as six patients at a time for infusion therapy.

Additionally, the Center accepts referrals from physicians outside of the Texarkana area including Dallas, Little Rock and Shreveport.

Cancer information at your finger tips, access to books, videos, the internet, brochures and other educational and cancer preventive materials are available through a simple phone call or visit to the resource center located within the Cancer Center. The CHRISTUS St. Michael W. Temple Webber Cancer Center is staffed and equipped to treat virtually any form of cancer.

A survivor by definition is a person who survives – who continues to function or prosper in spite of opposition, hardship or setbacks. This is why, at the W. Temple Webber Cancer at CHRISTUS St. Michael Health System, a person becomes a cancer survivor upon diagnosis, not when the treatment is finished.

CHRISTUS St. Michael offers a Survivorship Program to help patients prepare for and achieve a higher quality of life while fighting cancer. When patients are first diagnosed with cancer, the physical, psychosocial, nutritional and other needs are identified when treatment is first initiated to keep the patient at optimum health during and after treatments.

Once needs are outlined, Yolanda Bone, DNP, RN, ARNP, FNP-BC, Nurse Practitioner and Survivorship Program Manager, can direct patients to appropriate resources to meet those needs. Whether the survivor needs physical therapy at the CHRISTUS St. Michael Outpatient Rehabilitation Center or nutritional counseling with a dietician, focusing on being healthy in the beginning will allow for more strength and endurance through the continuum of cancer care.

Temple Webber Cancer Center at CHRISTUS St. Michael provides a multidisciplinary team approach, which means we work together to coordinate a treatment plan that’s tailored to you and your needs. Our medical oncologists, radiation therapists, oncology nurses, social workers, dietitians and other health professionals will educate you about your illness and offer important resources to help you make informed decisions.

Lung Nodule Program

We provide optimal diagnosis and management of lung cancer at all stages with a coordinated, multi-disciplinary team. A candidate for the Lung Nodule Program is anyone who has an abnormal chest X-Ray/CT Scan or has been diagnosed with lung cancer. In addition, we strive to expedite the evaluation and treatment of lung nodules.
