Dr. Koeck is certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery. He specializes in scoliosis, the growing spine, and all musculoskeletal conditions in children. He completed his medical school training at the University of Texas – Houston Medical School. He completed his residency in orthopedics at the University of Texas Health Science Center – San Antonio. During his residency, he trained with Dr. Robert Campbell and Dr. Melvin Smith, the inventors of the Titanium Rib. Dr. Koeck participates in research, patient care, and training in thoracic insufficiency.
